第二语言听力理解中的词义推断研究

本研究运用即时追述法考察英语学习者如何在听力理解练习中使用词义推断策略,旨在回答两个问题:1)受试在词义推断中运用哪些知识?2)英语水平如何影响受试运用知识来推断词义?研究表明:受试最常使用的知识是目标词所在句提供的上下文语境线索,同时运用语境知识和背景知识;语言水平是影响知识使用的重要因素:低水平受试更多调动背景知识,而高水平受试更善于运用语言知识和综合运用多种相关知识。
