摘要：

Aiming at some opinions and ideological tendencies in the past and present ethical discussion about happiness, the author made a monographic study on the following seven questions selected. They are the concept of happiness, human beings' pursuit of happiness, the objectivity of happiness, the relationship between happiness and joy, between happiness and material wealth (or external factors), between happiness, and evaluation on different kinds of happiness outlooks. Furthermore, guided by the Marxist concepts of history and morality, the author tried to give a Marxist clarification and response to the above questions, with the starting point as "opposing the exclusively objective explanation on happiness and the equation of the sphere of happiness outlook to an absolutely laissez-faire sphere".
