摘要：

In view of current multiplication and rampancy of Rhizopertha dominica (F. ) in middle and south China, the reasons are discussed based on pest biological and ecological characteristies. On the bases of integrated pest control, the author stressed the present measures on socialized rural service, early treatment of infested grains, lowering grain temperature, prevention of mutual infestation by pest migrating fly, improving gastightness in fumigation and disinfecting phosphine resistant populations. The advantages of using deltamethrin plus piperonyl butoxide as grain protectant and space spray insecticide for control of R. dominica are also emphasized.
