Theauthorpointsoutthatwiththeadventofinformationera ,greatchangeshavetakenplaceintheoperationalenvironmentofthetravelservices.Accordingly ,astudyonthestrategicmanagementoftravelservicesisofimmediatesignifi cance .Theauthor,whileexpoundingthetheoryof“standinglikethethreelegsofatripod”inthestrategicmanagement ofChina’stravelservices,raisesthefollowingmeasurestobetaken :1 .Fosteringtheideaofstrategicmanagement;2 . Convertingcrisisintobusinesschancesandactivelybeinginvolvedinthenet;3.Definingthespaceforthedevelopmentof theenterprises,developingthecorefunctionoftheproductsandprovidingvalue addedserivce;4 .Cateringtotheneedsof theconsumersandcreatingdemand ;5 .Stressingnewscaleeconomiesanddeterminingmoderatescale.
