The paper studies the effect of FDI on China's economic growth.The main results are:the effect of FDI on China's economic growth is languishing.By the analysis of China's cross-section data,time-series data,panel data of 28 province and city,I find that it can get a very useful conclusion to compare the regression coefficients of the three kinds of data models.What is worth noticing is that time-series model coefficient stand for the average promotion level of all years,that panel data model coefficient stand for not only the average promotion level of all years but also the average promotion level of Chinese every province.Though regression coefficients are not perfectly accurate,they can discover a kind of trend.By comparing the regression coefficients of the three kinds of data models,a very deep problem can be found that the FDI distribution in China keeps imbalance and the promotion effect on economic growth is languishing.
