清代江南地区的育婴事业圈

In this study of Qing dynasty foundling homes, the author finds that foundling homes were increasingly integrated between city and village. Statistics show that there were no less than twenty - six institutions. These foundling homes varled in size and the size of the foundling home was directly related to the size of the administrative district. This was due to the influence of administrative division and also the restrictions imposed by distance. The author also analyzes the special characteristics of foundling homes in Suzhou from the perspective of markets and community.
