血管内皮细胞生长因子及有关肢体缺血基因治疗的研究进展

摘要
目的 探讨血管内皮细胞生长因子 (vascularendothelialgrowthfactor ,VEGF)基因治疗严重慢性肢体缺血性疾病的可能性。方法 综述近年来对有关VEGF的分子生物学、VEGF的促血管生成机理及通过基因转移表达VEGF改善缺血肢体血供所进行的研究。结果 临床前的研究显示 ,VEGF能够刺激动物缺血肢体侧支动脉的形成 ,即所谓的“治疗性的血管生成” ;临床结果证实 ,通过基因转移表达的VEGF能够促进新生血管形成 ,使有严重肢体缺血的患者预后明显改善。结论 这项生物技术将为那些药物治疗无效和不适于外科血管重建或置换术的严重肢体缺血性疾病患者提供一种新的治疗方法。
