摘要
Threerestoringlines (Minghui 6 3,Ce 6 4andTeqing)asfemaleparentswerecrossedwithherbi cideresistanttransgeniccultivars (BengalHu10andGulfmont)asmaleparents .Geneticanalysisongenera tionsofF1,F2 andBC1indicatedthattheresistancetotheherbicide (Liberty)wascontrolledbyasingledomi nantnucleargene .Theresistancetotheherbicidewillworkasamarkerforthetruehybridfromcrossingwith themaleparent ,butnotforallotherplantsfromeitherselfing ,orintracrossinginfemaleparentpopulation . Aftertheapplicationoftheherbicide ,allplantsexceptthetruehybridwereeliminated .Withtheaidofthis technology ,thestrictrequirementofcompletesterilityformalesterilelineincropscanbereduced .Itwillbe beneficialnotonlyforbreedingnewexcellentmalesterilelines ,butalsoforcommercializingchemicallyin ducedmalesterilesystemincrops .
