摘要：

本文通过整理西双版纳州国家级自然保护区尚勇管理所多年的内部资料,了解亚洲象(Elaphas maximus)和其他野生动物在周边村寨附近活动的情况；并使用“双S”技术即GIS地理信息系统和GPS全球卫星定位系统进行分析,了解和掌握亚洲象活动分布及时间。由此对人与亚洲象等野生动物冲突的现状及其原因进行了讨论,并提出了管理对策。
