该怎样谈论“环境问题”

Environmental problems and material wealth are the two counterparts of man-made nature, as well as two poles of natural division resulted from the human productive activities. With the mode of human production developing into the stage of capitalism, there seems to exist a magical power, which has been producing an immense amount of material wealth and garbage, while turning the mankind into property owners and proletariat. They are both the inevitable results of the capital's logic, i. e., pursuing the maximization of its profits, and the facts of struggling against the capitalism. It has been turned out that the developed capitalist countries in the west led by the U. S. are the wildest destroyers of the environment and natural resources. Some theories on the issue shun this fact intentionally or unintentionally. Therefore, they fail to grasp the essence of the issue, nor are they able to find out the historical way of solving the “environmental problem”. This paper draws a conclusion that capitalism is doomed to destruction, which is not only our lesson taught by the issue, but also the only road to resolution for the issue.
