The current situation of geological environment in China is water resources short supplying and seriously polluted,geological hazard occurring frequently surface ecology worsening.At present,the major and the most imporatent tasks of geological environment protection os to establish and improve a legal system and a planning system,and to push science and technology innovation in geological environment protection.
