摘要：

新经济地理学的诞生,标志着时间与空间这两个维度在经济理论中实现了完美的融合,从而为经济学开辟了一个全新的发展方向。文章首先对新经济地理学的基本模型做了简要的回顾和评述,再从改进与拓展基本模型的角度出发,将新经济地理学的新近发展总结为六个方面,并对当前新经济地理学的不足与缺陷、发展前沿及未来可能的发展方向进行了阐释。
