摘要：

文章针对公共图书馆在少儿阅读事业中发挥的作用及方式,介绍美国公共图书馆读书会的基本情况、特点,及美国公共图书馆举办少儿读书会的一般形式、活动内容,包括传统读书会项目及与其他机构合作的读书会项目,探讨公共图书馆读书会对美国青少年和儿童产生的积极影响,建议中国公共图书馆在全民阅读事业,尤其是少儿阅读事业中发挥更积极、坚定的引领作用。
