摘要：
The CARL's UnCover Reveal and Elsevier Science's ContentsDirect are web based current alerting services.This paper aims to compare their facilities and performance.Attention is focused on source coverage,profile creation and revision,data quality,data format,cost of service and extension of service.Key factors for the effective utilization of current alerting services are also discussed.
