This is the report made by the Vice President of China State Electric Power General Corporation at the end of 1999. The report is composed of 4 parts: The state of the art of hydroelectric industry, the problems facing the hydroeleetric industry, the conception and strategies the corponation is to take for the development of hydropower, major tasks for the reform of hydropower industry. The report gives an overall review of hydropower industry in China.
