U-Pb ZIRCON AGES OF THE ROCKS IN THENORTH DABIE TERRAIN, CHINA

U-Ph zircon ages of four samples, two TTG gneisses, one metasediment and one dyke of granite-porphyryfrom North Dabie Terrain, were determined. The dates obtained suggest that the protolith emplacementtime of TTG gneiss was about 800Ma, but not in Early Cretaceous. The 120-130Ma thermal event stronglydisturbed U-Ph isotopic systematics of TTG gneisses and metasediments. But this thermal event lasted onlyfor a short time.
