新闻娱乐化研究的轨迹与问题——SSCI核心期刊新闻娱乐化研究述评

摘要
本文通过对SSCI期刊中新闻娱乐化研究的概念及核心问题的批判性回顾,得出以下结论:SSCI中收录的论文多数将新闻娱乐化作为自变量,忽略或默认了新闻娱乐化与政治冷漠加剧现象一样可能是媒体垄断、社会不平等的结果,新闻娱乐化是政治冷漠环境下媒体竞争注意力的结果,而其在一定程度上又调节加剧了政治冷漠。研究概念和核心问题的模糊导致新闻娱乐化研究众说纷纭:不同程度的新闻娱乐化(讽刺幽默、煽腥八卦),不同研究对象群体(不同社会经济地位、对政治关注程度的不一),不同认知阶段的影响效果(注意力、政治事实性知识、政治态度等的不同),都会产生不同的研究结果。新闻娱乐化的核心问题,并不只是信息与娱乐形式上的冲突而已,而是其背后的社会、经济因素(推动力)与政治之间的博弈过程作为自变量,主动受众和多元媒介环境下媒体作为公权力的使用问题。
