摘要：

本文旨在批判性地检视由Noelle-Neumann提出的"沉默的螺旋"模型。过去四十年里,该模型引发了大量的实证研究。然而,这些研究所得出的经验证据却差强人意。于是,许多研究者试图修正理论预设和发展针对关键变量新的测量工具。本文着重介绍了两个理论扩展和四个前沿领域。最后从方法、理论和意识形态三方面对该模型进行了评价。
