介绍了巴士快速交通技术和在世界主要国家的应用示范项目 ,比较了巴士快速交通和其他公共交通工具的技术经济特征 ,对巴士快速交通在公共交通系统中的地位和作用进行系统评估 ,最后对巴士快速交通在中国的应用现状进行分析 ,就中国巴士快速交通项目的发展过程提出初步建议 ,并就一些具体问题进行专门探讨。
