近年来由于新一代环境正义研究者大量应用经济分析到环境正义的研究上,使得环境正义理论与经济推理产生严重的对立。采取经济分析的学者从不正义的形成机制出发,撼动了传统环境正义理论的正义观。具体来说,经济学者认为过去的环境正义理论有两大盲点:重视(不正义的)结果而不重视形成机制的探讨;由于没有厘清不正义的形成机制,使得传统派也提不出具体的解决方案。质言之,采取经济论理的学者认为,光给垃圾场贴上"不正义"的标签是不够的,如果我们真的希望环境正义能够落实,就必须找出问题症结,然后对症下药。本文将环境正义的问题放进经济理论与环境政策的脉络中,来考察市场、政治与环境间的多重互动。本文认为,传统理论已经对正义的问题作了相当多的抽象考察,此刻我们应该从抽象回到具体,开始思考如何落实环境正义的问题了。
