自由的困境:社交媒体与性别暴力

摘要：
本文梳理了近年来发生于社交媒体上的多起针对女性的谩骂、威胁、侮辱等暴力事件,并总结出在这些事件中社交媒体处理态度和处理方式上的转变:从以"言论自由"为借口替暴力内容辩护到认识到暴力内容的危害性从而移除相关内容。本文分析了这一转变的原因,并指出"自由"理应成为性别平等的保护者而非性别暴力的辩护者。最后,本文提出了新媒介环境下治理网络性别暴力的现状与困境。
