内皮素基因在神经元、垂体和外周内分泌细胞均有表达,内皮素与受体结合产生广泛的生物学效应,在脑缺血性损害病理过程中发挥重要作用。文章对内皮素基因表达、内皮素及其受体生物学特性对脑缺血的影响及有关治疗学意义的研究进展予以简介。
