The end of colonialism after the Second World War had close link with these factors,such as the strong demands by the subject people for independence,the infusion of European ideas and practices in colonies,the colonial social changes during the 20 th century,the catalytic effect of the Second World War on many colonies,etc..In addition,the interference of United States and Soviet Union had direct influence upon the decololization of many tropical colonies.\;The end of colonialism means not only the collapse of the modern colonial empires,but also the emergence of many new independent states.However,some ex\|colonial states,which suffer the political unrest and economic decline in the post\|colonial experience,will have to confront a grim situation in the 21th century.
