民国年间冀中农户劳动生产率研究

Rural area is the broadest and deepest foundation of Chinese modernization and l abour productivity in countryside is the kernel factor for development of rural economy.The contemporary economists think,by and large,the total output is not t he most important because economic quantity alone often means increase but not d evelopment,so-called “the increase without development”.Based on the firsthand d ata investigated by Chen Hansheng and other old scholars,the author makes an ana lysis of labour productivity of peasant household,including the ratio of income between agriculture and sideline production,in Central Hebei Province in the per iod of the Republic of China,especially in the 1930s-40s,and reflects the level of agriculture productive forces in north China in that period.
