Hot topics, such as ophiolitic melange, collision time, "in-situ/foreign" of UHP rocks and their countrygneiss, subduction polarity, were discussed in light of new observations. During the Triassic continentalcollision, the Yangtze block subducted northwards beneath the Sino-Korean block. However, no relicophiolitic melange has been recognized so far. The Triassic collision suture between the two continentalblocks is replaced by the South Dabie Collision Complex that exhumed to nowadays surface.
