知识社会学的出路初探

The way by which the sociology of knowledge rid itself of the predicaments lies in, on the one hand, introducing a common-sense criterion of rationality in order to determine what is the object of the sociology of knowledge—it is not necessary to be analyzed from the point of view of the sociology when a belief could be explained by the common-sense theory of rationality, whereas, it can only be explained by the social root and social basis when the belief is cohered with the common-sense theory of rationality; on the other hand, substituting the problem of social acceptance of knowledge for the problem of social production of knowledge, will thereby confine the subject of the sociology of knowledge. Such a turn is helpful to the advent of an empirical research in this field and is of great theoretical significance as well.
