目前,种业高度发达并具有跨国竞争实力的国家和地区主要有美国、欧盟、日本、中国台湾、印度、巴西与阿根廷。研究与比较这些国家和地区现代种业业态(包括市场集中度、科研力量、种业技术政策、种子法律体系以及农业技术推广体系等)多方面情况及特点,可以为中国种业的发展提供有益的借鉴。
