从社会背景、主要影响因素、用户需求特点、图书馆的作用等方面对图书馆未来的发展环境进行了多层面的分析,在此基础上,重点考察了国内外图书馆的主要战略,在综合国外相关研究的基础上,提出了图书馆发展的总体趋势、资源建设趋势、用户服务趋势、图书馆管理与人员发展趋势,最后提出了国内外图书馆发展战略的启示。图1。参考文献125。
