摘要
Business Process Reengineering (BPR) is one of the most efficient ways to make breakthrough in business performance. The application of Information Technology (IT) gives powerful support to the implementation of BPR. This paper first analyzes the importance and possibility of using IT in implementation of BPR, and organic integration of IT with BPR. Then, a case study on the IT-based management process reengineering of telephone malfunction repairing is given. Based on this case study, a number of key factors related to the use of IT in BPR implementation are discussed.
