(1872-1951)与巴托克(1881-1945)为同一时期的作曲家,他们同为20世纪现代音乐的高峰人物,与斯特拉文斯基被公认为20世纪音乐的奠基人,特别是勋伯格和巴托克,他们自成一体的现代音乐思想对20世纪以来的世界音乐产生了巨大的影响。
