摘要：

边缘细胞是从根冠表面脱落下来并聚集在根部周围的一群特化细胞,对植物的生长和发育具有重要意义。从边缘细胞的特征、发育和生理功能等方面对植物边缘细胞的研究进行了综述,并对其发展前景进行了展望。
