现代网络出版是伴随着现代电子通讯技术尤其是现代网络技术的飞速发展而兴起的 ,它的发展经历了三个阶段 :电子网络出版的探索阶段 ;电子出版技术的广泛运用以及与网络技术的结合阶段 ;网络出版与多种媒体大融合形成所谓“大媒体”的阶段。网络出版和传统出版在载体、传播型式、传播工具和手段、功能、商业模式、管理方式等方面有着不同的范式 ,目前出版正经历着一场革命性的范式转换
