<正> 脑钠肽(brain natriuretic peptide,BNP)因首先从猪脑中分离出来而得名,后来发现脑钠肽主要来源于心脏分泌的脑钠肽前体(proBNP)。左心室功能不全时,proBNP裂解为BNP和没有生物学活性的N-末端片段(NT-proBNP)。以前,更多研究集中于成熟BNP的生物学功能上,忽略了对无生物学活性的NT-proBNP的研究。近来,人们发现NT-proBNP在判断左心室功能不全及其预后,区分心脏性和非心脏性原因导致的临床症状方面很有价值。下面就NT-proBNP的生物学特点及其临床应用研究现状作一综述。
