摘要：

Objective To examine relationship of postpartum depression with life events and social support.Methods 31 patients with postpartum depression and 33 normal controls were rated by a life events scale and a social support scale.Results The number of negative life events were found to be higher in patients with psotpartum depression than in normal controls.Social support of patients with postpartum depression was found to be lower than their normal counterparts.Conclusion Negative life events and deficient social support were significantly related to postpartum depression.
