摘要：
Based on the four components of the agricultural production means,agricultural labor forces,agricultural output capacity and agricultural production conditions,and on the predetermined sixteen variables,this study constitutes a statistical index system for the agricultural modernization in China and,thereby,analyzes empirically the progress of the Chinese agricultural modernization from 1998 to 2001.
