<正> Glycolate oxidase(GO, EC 1.1.3.1) is the key enzyme in the photorespiratory glycolate pathway which catalyzes the first reaction in the pathway, i.e., the oxidation of glycolate to glyoxylate. A large amount of research has been done to study the properties and structure of this important enzyme which has been reviewed recently by the author(LI 1988a).
