摘要：

美国公共图书馆管理外包始于1997年,其主要模式包括馆长职能外包和整体运作外包两种。美国各界对公共图书馆管理外包在以下方面存在争论:运营费用和服务;员工身份的改变和员工福利;资源共享;运营管理透明度;思想信息自由流动。美国公共图书馆管理外包的案例可为我国提供借鉴。
