摘要：

大众文化的全球化传播既产生出文化全球化,更激起了民族文化的反拨。英国文化批评家利维斯批判大众文化,以确立英语语言的经典地位、梳理英国17世纪的传统文化、倡导文学教育等方式建构精英文化在当前社会的主导作用,构建了英国文化在面临美国大众文化侵袭下的民族文化模式,为全球化本土文化的发展提供了一种借鉴模式。
