中国的超重和肥胖 曾经消瘦的巨人如今肥胖成倍增长

<正>全世界10亿超重或肥胖者中大约1／5是中国人。曾经被认为是世界上最瘦人群之一的中国,现在超重和肥胖的患病率正在快速地追赶西方人群。令人不安的是,这种变化发生在一个非常短的时间里。2002年全国营养与健康调查资料表明14．7％的中国人超重[体重指数(BMI;kg／m2)≥25],另有2．6％的中国人肥胖(BMI≥30)。这样使全中国13亿人口中超重人数目前(2002年)达1．84亿,肥胖人数达到3100万(附表)。尽管与美国等西方国家超过半数的成人超重抑或肥胖相比,中国的肥胖患病率相对较低,但是肥胖病的快速增长,特别是儿童的情况,给我们敲响了警钟。全国儿童体质调研资料表明1985至2000年间,7～18岁儿童的超重率增长了28倍,肥胖率增长了4倍(附图),这一增长趋势在男童尤为明显。
