摘要：

公共参与既是公民教育的一个主要部分,也可以被视为公民教育的一种重要途径。有关城市空间的政治争议,是推动社会进步一个特别重要的源泉,同样具有教育公众的巨大潜能。在民众与政府辩论与争执、讨价还价、妥协与让步的过程中,一个复杂的公众与一个复杂的公共政治都得到了发展和提高。
