制度环境与寻租活动:源于世界银行数据的实证研究

摘要：

本文运用相关和典型相关分析方法,对制度环境(正式制度环境与非正式制度环境)与寻租活动之间的关系进行了理论和实证研究。研究结果显示正式与非正式制度均对寻租活动有显著影响,且非正式制度影响作用更为显著。具体而言,正式制度中,国家的法律和金融环境越不完善,寻租活动表现越活跃。非正式制度中,国家的权力距离和集体主义程度越高,风险规避程度越低,寻租活动越活跃;企业对政府的信任对寻租活动没有表现出显著作用。研究带给我们这样的启示:抑制寻租活动不仅需要短期内正式制度的建设和完善,更需要非正式制度中文化与价值观的长期培育和改进。
