This paper is based on investigations andd theories of different disciplines such as psychology,education,linguistics and applied linguistics. Taking the reality of the present oral English teaching into consideration,the authors analyzed the status quo of oral English teaching in China and posed some objective and subjective issues existing in our oral English teaching work nowadays. Afterwards the authors gave some countermeasurees against these isslles or,as we usually say, the feasibly effective strategies that can be applied in empiricalteaching and by which, with "two activities", "six principles" and "six types of training", the successful results have been achieved
