童年饥饿经历会影响老年健康吗?

摘要：

我国现阶段的老年人出生于经济发展水平比较落后的时期,很多老年人在童年阶段都有过挨饿的经历,研究童年的挨饿经历对老年健康的影响对于我们全面认识老年健康的影响因素具有重要意义。本文利用中国健康与养老追踪调查(CHARLS)2014年生命历程调查以及CHARLS 2013年和2015年全国追踪调查数据,研究了0-5岁的挨饿经历对老年健康的影响。实证结果表明,0-5岁的挨饿经历会对老年人的自评健康产生负面影响,并且会提高患有慢性病的概率,降低老年人的认知能力。本文的研究意味着,应该从整个生命历程的视角来看待老年健康。为改善老年人的健康状况,政府决策应该具有前瞻意识,从生命早期开始,加强对弱势群体的营养和健康状况的干预。
