摘要：

In opposition to M.Sandel's charge of inconsistency between John Rawls'two principles of justice in his Liberalism and its limit,this paper tries to show that,contrary to Sandel's view,Rawls did not appeal to a communitarian conception of inter-subjective self in formulating his difference principle,rather,he has actually developed the inter-subjective implication of Kantian "kingdom of ends" or ideal commonwealth.The two principles of justice chosen in the original position are therefore internally connected to each other.By this means,this paper also attempts to work out a conception of inter-subjectivity not only consistent with,but also implied in the freedom of individual.
