摘要：
Beginning with the renewal on city management concept, with the full application of multiple modern information technologies such as computer, Internet, GIS, wireless communication and so on, the Committee and the Government of Dongcheng District of Beijing has designed and implemented a new city management mode named as Ten- Thousand Meter Unit Network. This new mode of city management mainly covers two aspects: first, supervision and management of urban municipal engineering facilities and public utilities; second, supervision and management of urban appearance and urban environment.
