摘要
<正> Nonlinear computational instability is an important problem in numerical weather prediction. N. Phillips has first given such unstable examples of computation, and ascribed this phenomenon completely to "aliasing error". This is indefinite because so long as a scheme satisfies square conservation of predicted variables, non-linear computational instability is very unlikely to occur, although aliasing effect might exist. Some physical mechanism producing such instability is further posed in [2].
