摘要：

在系统分析了国内外元胞自动机的原理和应用的基础上,利用C++语言编写了一个具有简单规则的城市空间扩张模型,并运用该模型对珠江三角洲核心区域的城市扩张进行了空间预测分析,结果显示该模型对城市扩张研究能够进行有效的模拟和预测。研究的时间范围为1998年～2003年,其城市面积通过遥感数据(Landsat TM和ETM+)获得,基于CA模型进行预测的时段为2003年～2008年和2008年～2013年。
