The rhetoric of science gradually obtained its unique value and disciplinary significance with the evolving and alternating shifts of linguistics,hermeneutic and rhetoric in the intellectual movement of the twenty century.As a kind of scientific methodology that possesses the meta- analytic feature,it has penetrated into various rhetoric strategies of scientific explanation.Therefore,ithas become the most promising method in the research of postmodern philosophy of science.Thispaper interpretsthe necessity of scientific rhetoric in lightof a historical background in which rhetoric ofscience appeared.Itindicates the unity of forms,structures and functions of scientific rhetoric strategy based on the creativeness of scientific knowledge.Italso explains,according to the scientific context,the methodological implication of scientific rhetoric’ s reconstruction in which there is an internal consistency between syntactic,semantic and pragmatics’analysis.Therefore it reveals the reality and importance of scientific rhetoric research.
