Included in this paper is a systematic introduction on the classification, source and harm of toxic nonbiodegradable organic compounds, and a countermeasure on the treatment for conbidegradable wastewater is also suggested, i. e. the comprehensive treatment for them is to control the pollution source and decrease their ultimate discharge. The measures to be considered in the process of treating mainly include: (1) strengthening the pretreatment and developing combination process; (2) strengthening the existing biochemical process; (3) adding the treatment process after the biochemical treatment.
