纸本图书PDA:境外图书馆的实践及其启示

PDA(读者决策采购,Patron-driven Acquisition)是一种全新的资源建设模式。目前,国外图书馆纸本图书的PDA有两种类型:一种是把馆际互借请求转化为纸本图书的订单,另一种是读者在OPAC中发现MARC数据并发起购买。国外图书馆纸本图书PDA实践具有以下几个基本特点:图书馆员较少干预;馆藏标准清晰而严格;对书商要求较高;PDA现在只是试验项目。国内纸本图书引入PDA模式,应注意以下几点:读者荐购不是PDA;根据情况进行小规模的PDA试验;设计高效的PDA工作流程;注重对PDA效果的评估。
